How Our Cash Discount Program Works

Available to qualifying merchants, this program enables merchants to charge a customer service fee to their customers that pay with any form of payment other than cash and enabling the merchant to benefit from free credit card processing.
Legal and regulatory changes have created the ability to eliminate the fees merchants are paying merchant services companies to process cards.
This is not a surcharge program, nor a convenience fee. It is a unique program based on language written into the Dodd Frank Bill & the Durbin Amendment whereby merchants can now offer a “cash discount” to their cash paying customers.
How it works is, everything in your store or business is marked at cash price. If they pay with card, they will incur a flat fee of 3.5% which is itemized on the receipt as a service charge. You will be given a sign that states everything is marked as cash price and if paying with other than cash, they will pay 3.5%. The processor collects the 3.5% of your daily volume at end of day as you receive your money. You have collected the 3.5% with every transaction that month. This results in no cost credit card processing for merchants
